De oorsprong van de rivier ligt aan de voet van het Dinara-gebergte en de rivier mondt via een gigantische kloof uit in de Adriatische zee bij het kustplaatsje Omis. Duikers en het Kroatische Natuur Instituut hebben metingen uitgevoerd en bereikten een diepte van 155 meter, maar dat was nog lang niet de bodem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het water van de karstbron van de Cetina rivier kleurt verschillende tinten blauw en groen. Door het kraakheldere water kun je zien dat het oneindig diep is. Van tevoren twijfelde we of de content die we van de bron gezien hadden niet extreem was gephotoshopt, maar deze plek is in het echt precies zoals op de foto\u2019s en video\u2019s. Heel bizar!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als je voor de bron staat zie je dat het water via een klein stroompje wordt weggevoerd. Zo bijzonder dat dit het begin is van een gigantische rivier die stroomt door een groot deel van <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/happytravelspots.com\/nl\/croatia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kroati\u00eb<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<script async src=\"https:\/\/c108.travelpayouts.com\/content?trs=156286&#038;shmarker=345779&#038;tour=t465553%2C%20t396090%2C%20t472160&#038;items=3&#038;locale=en-US&#038;powered_by=false&#038;promo_id=4039\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Het uitzicht van bovenaf<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Om het blauwgroene drankenoog te zien vanuit onderstaand perspectief heb je een drone nodig. Vanuit de lucht heb je het beste zicht op dit bijzondere fenomeen. Fotografie en film tip: Bezoek deze plek op een zonnige dag, zodat de kleuren van het water eruit springen in de foto\u2019s en video\u2019s. Er gaan verhalen rond dat er bijzondere wezens in de diepte leven. Maar door het koude water ben je vast al snel vergeten dat je boven een oneindig diep gat zwemt ;). Het water is ijskoud grondwater dat uit de diepte van de aarde naar boven komt. De watertemperatuur varieert tussen de 4 tot 8 (!) graden celsius. Brrr. Eenmaal aangekomen bij de bron kun je gratis parkeren naast het nabijgelegen kerkje.
